Creation is discovery: seeking out, and finding, something tangible and intangible, innovative and discontinuous compared to the conventional spheres of knowledge. This means choosing, selecting and, at the same time, excluding.
For the Fondazione Luigi Rovati, creation means nourishing and channelling its uniqueness through the various activities generated both on its own and in collaboration with other subjects and entities. From archaeology to modern art, from research on ties between the mind and art to the study of relations between archaeological research and innovative technology, creation always involves intangible and tangible infrastructures. And it raises the prospect of multidisciplinary research, creativity and experimentation to form systems for the sharing of knowledge. The ultimate goal is to establish a vision of culture as a multifaceted, unifying process.
