On the occasion of the exhibition "Etruscan Treasures. The Castellani Collection Between History and Fashion", Fondazione Luigi Rovati is hosting a program of initiatives to accompany the months of the exhibition by highlighting various aspects of the Castellani family and workshop.
The work of Fortunato Pio Castellani and his sons, Alessandro and Augusto, is intertwined with a period of great excavation discoveries in the lands once inhabited by Etruscan and Italic civilizations. Fascinated by the archaic techniques of gold production, Fortunato Pio successfully reproduced their aesthetics and launched a new genre of goldsmithing "in the style of the ancients."
All lectures are available on the Foundation's YouTube channel.
The meetings are free and free admission, subject to availability. Reservation is recommended.
The conference ticket does not include access to the Art Museum.
