Tickets
For security reasons, entries may be limited under certain circumstances. On-line purchase of time slot tickets is recommended.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Museum, depending on availability, up to an hour before closing time.
The Museum ticket includes the current exhibitions and the audio guide.
For online bookings, a document proving entitlement to the reduction must be presented at the time of collection.

Your Visit
The Museum houses a rich collection of Etruscan ceramic, bronze and gold objects.
The exhibition route unfolds from the Hypogeum floor (Level -1) to the Piano Nobile (Level 1), in a journey that takes visitors from past to present – with over 200 artefacts of the museum’s Etruscan collection exhibited alongside modern and contemporary artworks.
Access to temporary exhibitions, which are installed within the permanent collection exhibition spaces, is included in the museum ticket.
The Art Pavilion hosts temporary exhibitions that are open free of charge.
Audio Guide
The audio guide is designed to offer a personalised museum experience: using geolocation, the guide automatically detects the visitor’s position in the museum and activates the relevant content, offering general descriptions for each exhibition space, and artwork descriptions and special insights as visitors approach certain objects or artefacts
The audio guide is available, free of charge, from the ticket office or by downloading the Fondazione Luigi Rovati app on any compatible smartphone.
The FLR app offers visitors a complete museum experience: in addition to audioguides and artwork descriptions, it includes useful information about the Foundation and offers the possibility to book tickets and stay up to date on upcoming activities.

You can explore the museum spaces and discover the most important works of the Fondazione Luigi Rovati Art Museum also through our digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and culture app.
Bloomberg Connects allows visitors to enhance and expand their visit experience through a selection of contents and interactive maps, from exhibition insights, video guides, photo galleries, and thematic tours led by curators.

Accessibility
The Fondazione Luigi Rovati promotes access to knowledge by making every effort to overcome physical, social and cultural barriers through partnerships with professionals and non-profit associations, all in the interest of developing paths and tools which enhance the visitors’ experience in the museum’s hall and help them engage with the works of art.
Museo Gentile (Gentle Museum) is the series of projects designed by the Fondazione Luigi Rovati to accommodate people with frailty and special needs.

A tactile museum visit for the sight-impaired, designed with the Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano (Institute for the Blind of Milan), reproduces a series of artefacts in 3D while also providing a guide in braille.
Useful Information
The lift is wheelchair accessible and stops at all floors
There is a changing table for infants in the bathroom facilities on the Palazzo’s “Noble” floor (Level 1)
Access to the garden is free
Umbrellas are not permitted in the museum’s exhibition spaces. They can be checked, free of charge, in the cloakroom
The conference room is located on Level 2
The museum’s reference room is located on Level 2, where it is possible to consult volumes from the Foundation’s library (located in Monza) on appointment

For security reasons, baby carriages, strollers and carriers are not allowed in the museum’s exhibition spaces
Two light-weight strollers (for children 6 months and older) are available for the duration of your visit. They can be requested at the ticket office
Restrooms can be found on each floor of the museum, including one fully accessible restroom per floor, and an infant changing-table on Level 1
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the Palazzo and garden
Accessible via the Foundation’s main lobby and facing out onto the garden, the café-bistro, run by chef Andrea Aprea, is open from:

Photos may be taken exclusively for personal use, without the use of flash.
Tripods and other stands are not permitted.
Permission for any professional photography or film must be requested from the Foundation in advance by writing to: press@fondazioneluigirovati.org
Located next to the ticket office are small lockers where personal objects can be left free of charge.
The lockers measure: 39,5 x 42 x 40 cm.
Each is equipped with a numbered key which must be returned after removing the personal items.
The Foundation cannot be held responsible for stolen, damaged or lost objects.
Items may be inspected upon entry at the discretion of security personnel
Located next to the ticket office, the bookshop is freely accessible to the public. Run by the publishing house Johan & Levi, in collaboration with the Fondazione Luigi Rovati, open from:

Pencils, notepads and notebooks are allowed inside the museum’s exhibition spaces; however, ink, painting colors and easels are not permitted.
Only Guide Dogs and Assistance and Support Dogs are permitted inside the Palazzo and garden
