“Fondazione Luigi Rovati Platform” wins the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 Gold

"Fondazione Luigi Rovati Platform", the innovative platform developed by the multidisciplinary studio Dotdotdot, has received the "iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 Gold," the highest award in the prestigious international iF Design Award.

A jury of 132 independent international experts awarded only 75 design projects out of nearly 11,000 entries from 72 countries.

"Fondazione Luigi Rovati Platform", which received the award in the Service Design category for cultural and tourism, is an integrated digital infrastructure that allows content and information to be united in a single platform, both from the perspective of visitor experience and museum governance.

The location-based audioguide offers visitors an innovative experience since it allows -thanks to the indoor positioning infrastructure- to access audio content simply by moving through the museum space; while the interconnected back-office system helps museum staff monitor visitor flows, collecting data about their interest and enjoyment. An information model that is also useful for guiding museum programming.
